Season’s Journal tracks Trending because moves show up there first. The desk then compares volume with liquidity, holder count and wallet spread before it treats a move as real.
Price and volume spikes are common on Solana. Most fade within hours. Season’s Journal keeps the Trending feed open to measure how many do not.
One habit: Look at how many distinct buyers joined during the move, not only the volume total. Divide 24-hour volume by liquidity. A very high ratio can mean churn between a few wallets.
